How put off date gps ln835 - LG LN835 Car GPS Receiver

If your zeepad is an Android device you have to go to Settings> Date and Time. Then you have to touch Automatic date & time
and turn it of *off* . Then you are able to manually set the Date Time, time zone etc. Then after you do that you can go back and turn the Automatic date & time back on so it will correct it every time you're connected to the internet or, if you have a GPS to the GPS satellites.

I would do a software update.....

with the unit Off....... connect your gps to your computer using the usb cable.....your computer will detect new hardware (usb) minimise pop up box

next

go to www.mygarmin.com it too will detect your gps model and let you update Firmware and maps

it will tell you to download WebUpDater utility to transfer files to your gps

the address is not found in the memory because the map software is out of date, that is what the message means

what happens if you submit the serial number with the wrong purchase date?
how can you correct that information?

I have the downloaded update files for this GPS and would be willing to trade for a copy of the original SD card. My daughter erased the original card while trying to put MP3 music files on and the update will not load without the original software present. Please contact: [email protected]

I am sure you noticed on your maual that you can upgrade your map by going to LGs website. WRONG! I sent several emails and called four times before I got an answer. Here is it:
Part number SAA30505501 Cost $63.73 plus shipping (WHAT A RIP OFF). This is not a lifetime subscripiton like Garman has for less money, this is for each upgrade you need. If I find someone with the upgrade I will send you a message and share the file.

My 305 takes a while to locate satelites sometimes too, otherdays it is only a minute or so. Try not to be standing near the sides of any buildings / houses (out in the open) and also stand still if you are wearing it while it is locating the sattelites. Better still, I like to put it on the ground or on a table (outside) when I turn it on so the receiver is facing directly up to the sky when it is first turning on (while you are stretching or something), then put it on when it is ready to go.

Have you tried in the settings to change your location, then it will get you to confirm the date?

I fixed my C530 on my own. Garmin support will not give you this solution.
I attached the GPS to the computer with the usb cable. I used the file explorer in windows to view the file system on the GPS. I sorted the files by date. Then I moved the files that had a newer date than the last time the GPS worked, to an backup folder on my computer in case I need to restore the files to the GPS again. I than disconnected the GPS from the computer and restarted the GPS. The GPS works perfect now and doesn't enter the demo mode any longer.
