Depending on the type of file format that your player will play meaning mp3 wma etc. all you need todo is open the window or file with your music then in your computer start menu go to my computer and open with the player pluggedn into the computer double click the player icon if it doesnt open a blank window select the audio tab and drag your music over to that page each song or by complete file. to drag use your left button and hold down while dragging to the player page. or edit at top of music page then select all right click cut then onthe player page right click paste. these options should help you.
Yep, that means the hard drive is probably fried. I had that problem, ended up opening up the unit and found the hard drive making the standard 'bad drive' sounds (the head moving back and forth repeatedly, unable to read data, occasional clicking sound).. return it.
k, to erase internal memory do this: 1-Turn off device. 2-Hold power to start but keep it held + the menu button, hold those UNTIL the menu comes up. 3-let go of the switch and button and scroll to 'erase internal memory.
in the mp3 format itself ter are many types....actual mp3 song would occupy about les than 6-9mb space if its morre...try to convert it ..........the space reduction may be due to virus.....try formatting it
I had the same problem and solved it with this:
On the Samsung support page, there´s a knowledge base called "YP-T6 Or YP-MT6 Show No File And Zero Free Memory"
you need to download the latest firmare from the downloads section, then with the uptader on the PC, remove the battery from the YP-T5 or 6 and connect the USB cable to a PC while pressing and holding the play button on the YP-T. It should connect in a recovery mode which allows you to update the firmware, format the flash drive and get going again !
