Question about Washing Machines

1 Answer

LG washing machine, Model WD8013F

This washing machine wobbles everytime it goes into a spin cycle. I have tried balancing it, putting additional concrete slabs underneath it, checked to see if the transit bolts are still on the unit,....but nothing helps. What can you recommend?

Fisher and paykel model gw712 . During rinse or spin cycle unit goes out of balance and stops. The rince or spin light flashes and a beeping sound is heard.

your clothes load is too heavy on one side; stop it move some around and turn it back on and see if it doesn't wobble all over.

When it goes into the spin cycle, the inside "basket" seems off kilter and wobbles noisily

This may be due to an unbalanced wash load. When you load your washer, try to distribute your laundry evenly in the basket. Try to balance heavy stuff opposite each other.
Hope this helps.

What will cause my Whirlpool washing machine to set on low speed spin cycle?

The machine uses automatic load sensors to balance the load and when you put something in the machine that is big, like a comforter, it knows that it cannot balance that item. So with a front loader it wont spin at high speed because it would be off balance and either damage the machine or the machine would "walk" because of the off balance motion.

LG washing machine direct drive when i put it on it washes and goes down to 9 mins then stops, sometimes an error code comes up UE? CAN U HELP PLEASE

It means Unbalanced Error, it means the machine cant balance the load during the spin cycle, normally happens if there is too little a load i.e 1 or 2 things or overloaded. It is designed to protect the bearings. If it happens with a normal load try stopping it and re-arranging the load by hand and putting it on a spin only cycle. Hope this helps.

Me and my kids are going nuts because everytime we wash something, it goes off balance the clothes are wet and it flashes ue ''uneven'' even if it is only 1 piece of clothing . I have adjusted all the legs...

if the cycle does not gets complete then its --
it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:

  • It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

  • It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.
