Hp a705w upgraded to 2gb ram, 160gb hd (sata) cpu running at 2.93gh,\r\nshould be a beast. runns slow and video streaming has slight freeze. HELP. Welcom291

the specs is already good for browsing and some sort of document editing. however, if you wish to play games or do video editing, i suggest you get a good video card. 1gb video card will be good. Even if you have a good amount of ram but your video processing memory is shared, it will definitely slow your computer.

Sir, i have p5sd2-vm dell pc and asus motherboard ram 1GB,in my pc games run slow ,is this any driver or hardware problem ,please help me

For most newer games you need a higher end graphics card, a fast processor (at least 2 Ghz Dual Core), and at least 2 GB of ram. There is little chance that there is a problem with your computer other than there might be programs running in the background such as anti-virus programs. If you disable your anti-virus software and the games are still slow, you should consider an upgrade.

What video card can i buy for my computer ? I have a HP Pavilion a1120n . It already has an internal video card , but i want to upgrade . Its a Intel (R) 82915G / GV / 910GL Express Chipset with 128 mb...

I suggest you install an AGP video card that suits your requirements. If you play games that require a powerful graphics card, then I recommend the G Force range of graphics cards. A computer shop can recommend to you a graphics card depending upon what programs you are running on your computer. The games programs usually recommends a graphic card with their games.
Don't forget to disable/turn off the on-board graphics card in the BIOS if you use an external graphics card.

What specs should I buy for my cpu that can play latest games like L4d 2, Cod MW2, prototype, etc etc.. and whats the difference between ddr2, ddr3, or gddr 2, gddr3?

a setup to play these kind of games
u need

cpu : core@duo any model
graphic card : ati hd 3850 or higher /// nvidia 9600gt or higher
ram : 2gb or high with 800mhz fsb or more

ddr2 and ddr3 are types of ram
ddr2 is the most widely used one
dd3 is the latest model in rams and is the fastest, but is very expensive
price/performance is better or ddr2

gddr2, gddr3, gddr5 are different models of ram that is used on graphics card

gddr5 is the best that is in the market for mainstream users

Will the ''Sims 3'' work on this computer...?

It should be OK, your system shipped with P4 3ghz processor, so thet should suffice, what you may need is a high end video card and at least 1 or 2 gb memory. I dont reccomend using the onboard video.
