Error code F3-F100-0004

I suspect, you have been trying to restore to factory settings. This does appear to be a common problem with Toshiba Satellites. You should always make recovery discs if they are not supplied with the PC, a lesson you will now have learned.

You have two choices, you can either contact Toshiba and see if it is possible to purchase a set of Recovery Disks for you particular laptop. Or, you borrow (as you have already thought of) a Windows 7 OS disc. Keep in mind this disc must be the same version of Windows 7 that is written on your Product Key sticker. This will probably be stuck underneath the laptop. If you try to use a different version your product key will not work.

If you can get the discs from Toshiba this will save you the time and trouble of having to download and install all the drivers that you need for a clean install as they will be included on the discs. Hope this helps.

It says unable to read disc when i put the game in.

What Is It? The Disc Read error is a simple one. It simply means that the Xbox is unable to read the disc that you have placed in the drive. In the majority of instances, this error has nothing to do with the functionality of the console, but, rather, hinges on the actual disc that has been inserted into the DVD tray.
Disc-Related Errors The most common reason for Disc Read errors are related to the disc itself. Numerous conditions can keep the laser from reading the information contained within the game, DVD or CD in the DVD drive.
  • The disc is scratched - Game discs, audio CDs and DVDs can become scratched very easily. Usually this is because they have not been kept in their cases, but left in the open. Simply resting two discs atop one another can scratch the bottom disc. If discs are sufficiently scratched, the data contained on them will be inaccessible to the drive.
  • The disc is dirty/dusty - Dirt and dust can build up on the faces of discs left exposed. When sufficient dirt or dust has built up, it can block the laser beam used to read the disc, resulting in a Disc Read error.
  • The disc is the incorrect region - DVDs come in formats called "regions." These regions match the region specified in the software of the DVD player. Some games also have these regions. If the region of the DVD and that of the player do not match, the disc will not play.
Can I Fix These Errors? Repairing disc-related issues may or may not be possible. If the cause is simply dirt and dust, you can certainly repair the disc. However, if the cause is due to extreme scratching, then replacing the disc is likely your only choice. If the disc is from the incorrect region or from another country, you will have to obtain the correct region. Returning the disc to the retailer for exchange may work.
Non-Disc Related Errors As mentioned, there can be some Disc Read errors that have nothing to do with the disc at all. In this case, it's time to troubleshoot the Xbox.
  • First, simply try to reboot the machine. Often, this will flush the cache or other error and allow the game to operate or the disc to play.
  • Second, try removing the hard drive and/or memory units. Once removed, reboot the console and attempt to load the disc with the hard drive and memory out of the unit. If this works, you can simply shutdown and reinstall the hard drive.
  • Attempt to play the disc in another type of player. For instance, attempt to play the DVD in another DVD player or the CD in a CD player. If the disc plays in these players, you may need to clean the Xbox DVD player.
  • Check to make sure that all air vents are open and are able to provide sufficient airflow. Overheating can cause Disc Read errors, as well. In addition, ensure that the power supply is unobstructed and uncovered. Much like the Xbox 360, the power supply can become quite hot and can cause errors if unventilated.
  • Check for disc tray errors. Depress the eject button and watch the tray extend. If the tray partially extends and then retracts immediately, you may have a problem with the DVD drive. If your Xbox is under warranty, this can be replaced at no charge. However, if you are out of warranty, you can install a new DVD drive on your own.
  • As a note, make sure that the new DVD drive comes with the same firmware as your original console, or you may experience additional error codes after the installation of the new DVD drive.

Loaded Start disc. When installing my language disc 1, I get an 9123 error code and a message " there was an error in the application". I cannot uninstall, because I get messages "...

Version 3/4: Error 9123 during Language CD installation

This error message relates to Version 3 and Version4. If you receive a 9123 error message during language installation, try one of the following resolutions:
  • Clean the disc with alcohol/windex/water and a soft cloth and try installing again.
  • Disable your internet security program, especially Norton or Symantec Security and try installing again.

No power on

Try connect it to other PC.Inspect the connectors inside the PC.

The drive doesn't have power.
• Is the power supply cable from the host computer plugged in?
• Is the Power Connector to the drive securely attached?
• The system doesn't start.
• Are the Primary and Secondary connections and the Master and Slave settings
correct?
• Is the total length of the IDE cable 18 inches or less?
• Is each connector completely attached?
Other connections may have been knocked lose while installing the drive.
• Cannot Read or Write Discs.
• Is the condition of everything else in the system (CPU, hard disc, and others)
as it should be? (See system environment page 2.)
• Does the CD or DVD disc have dirt or scratches?
• Did a screen saver or other application operate while writing to the disc?
• Is there enough free space on the CD, DVD and DVD-RAM disc?
• Does writing fail even using the simulation test?
• Is the disc loaded in the drive with the read/write surface facing the right
direction? (label up)
• Is the drive installed in the correct orientation?
• Was the drive or disc moved from a low temperature environment to a high
temperature environment? (There is a possibility of condensation on the lens in
the drive or on the surface of the disc.)
• Using a 40-pin IDE cable might bring the '04/08/03 error (LOGICAL UNIT
COMMUNICATION CRC ERROR (ULTRA-DMA/32))'.
In this case, substitute to 80-pin type IDE cable is highly recommended.
This kind of error is hardly detected from some specific motherboard

Windows doesn't start and there is an error message

It depends. Some of the computer stores give an Operating System disc when a customer purchases a computer package but one thing for sure they will give you a system drivers disc for your unit.  In your case now, you should have a boot media disc (Operating System) installer for you to install a fresh copy of your operating system or repair your Operating System problem you are facing now. Make sure you are setting your bios boot sequence to cd, floppy and last will be your harddisk.

Okay, thanks for that. Usually, the easiest way to repair a Code 10 error is to simply uninstall the device, then allow Windows to install it again. If you have an installation or drivers disc, this is good to have on hand, but it's possible that Windows may be able to automatically install it without requiring one.

To uninstall the device, simply right click on it in the devices list, select Uninstall, then restart Windows. When the computer restarts, it should automatically detect the hardware and attempt to install it. If it cannot find the driver without requiring a disc, you'll need to supply the disc that contains the drivers for the WAN miniport so that it can install it for you.

completely uninstall everything associated with the initial install of the camera, might require going into the registry and looking for any instance of the camera. Before you try reinstalling, make sure you have the most recent version of explorer as new scripts require updated IExplorer.
