What to do if Backup Failed: Insert Card?

Shut down the system. Remove the Backup/Restore card. Make sure the slot and card are debris free. Re-insert card and re-start system. If Backup fails again, then the card or slot has failed. A quick test is to shut down the system move the Backup card to the other slot and re-start. If Backup works, then bad slot. Otherwise looking at a replacement Backup/Restore card.

Memory card not formating what i do

Hi,
  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader. Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives. Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive. In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.

  • Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place. Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

  • If the memory does not format, it means the memory card is damage.

    Switch off problem

    hi,
the memory card might have been affected by virus.
i will want you to open the back cover of the phone, remove the battery and remove the memory card.
after doing this, put the battery cover the back of the phone and switch it on.
if this problem continue, replace the phone battery with a new one. make sure the battery laps on the phone so that it will not be shaking.
    thanks for using fixya.

I am getting static on the line - my end only - have had the phone lines checked - no problem. Phone is pretty old. When I answer it it makes a big screech before I can talk and then I have static.

sounds like you have a 206e card thats going bad. there are still alot of them out there and there not too hard to replace in the cabinet. To figure out which card to replace, match your extension number to the following: card 1 is extensions 10-15, card 2 is extiesions 16-21, card 3 is extensions 22-27, and card 4 is extensions 28-33. Make sure you power down the system if you remove or install any cards.

    Do you know

Wow, an oldie but a goodie. A DK-424 with 10 button sets....doesn't quite seem right, but the card is a 4-port trunk card (C.O.) without Auto Busy Redial.

Your base cabinet 424 can expand to 16 trunks and 32 phones in that cabinet.

I have a motorola razer cell phone that has been working fine. today i had just talked with some one on it and it diplayed INSERT SIM i have tried taking battery out and sim card and re-inserted it...

I had this same problem with my razr adn I hated that phone because of it. Make sure the sim card is pushed in all the way. Clean the contacts on the sim card itself (you know the gold parts) and make sure the contacts where it meets the phone are clean also. Make sure the metal part that holds the sim card in is securing the card close to the phone and it's actually making contact.

It always just took some fiddling like you are doing to get it working again, but the problem never went away. Do you have insurance on your phone? Maybe you can replace it or upgrade it based on which plan you have and which provider you use. I would never buy another razr because my husband and I had about three of them total and they always had glitches.

Even if this doesn't solve the problem, I hope it makes you feel better to know that you are not the only one feeling the pain!
