- Try a soft reset
- If the problem resurfaces, try a hard reset
- Update the the operating system software

Release both buttons when the USA mapAppears Hard Reset (Deletes stored GPS Datasuch as Waypoints and trails)1. Back up any waypoints, routes,and trails that you want to save on a blank MMC card2.
