Question about KitchenAid Architect Series KEBC107KSS Electric Single Oven
Just wondering if anyone could tell me just how much scrubbing I need to do before I put the oven in self-clean mode. The oven is nearly 2 years old and I've never cleaned it (ugh), so it's quite soiled. I was able to get a lot of it up with baking soda and a plastic scrub sponge, but there's more baked on the sides, top and back. Will the self-clean really get it all cleaned up, or shall I continue to scrub it myself? I want it to look new again!
If you get most of the big chunks out that should be good, make sure there is no tomato sauce etc on the porcelian as it can leave a stain. Don't forget to take the racks out as they will not slide well if left in durin self clean.
