I think on that model there is a long plastic cover on the top right hand corner with a tab in the front. Push tab and cover should hinge down to uncover the filter. Unscrew filter to left and pull forward. Reverse to install new filter.

How do i clean a filter of a whirlpool awm 5080 front loader

If you are talking about the drain pump strainer, you need to remove the lower front panel. should be 3 screws on the bottom facing forward. Once you have that off, the pump strainer is almost in the center, facing you. unscrew it counterclockwise to remove.

I have a shadow on the screen in the bottom right hand corner what could the problem possibly be.

It sounds like something has fallen or crawled into your tv. Unplug unit and remove the panel on the rear bottom. Now remove the upper part of the rear cabinet if you cannot see the problem. You will probably find something on the lense blocking the light. This would be a good time to clean the lenses. Using a soft cloth and windex, spray the cloth then gently clean each lense using a circular motion. Do not wipe until dry as you may scratch the lense. Do not spray the lense as you will cover critical components with corrosive cleaner. Do not push hard or disturb any lense adjustments. Reassemble unit and your tv should look as good as new. Let me know how this works out. hardrocko@hotmail.com .

Replace water filter

HI. Frist, make sure that your unit is equipped with this feature. if you have varifyed that your unit is equipped with a filter fo this nature, the location will be on teh front, lower grille area. This is the most common location for a water filter. Simply kneel down, and look at the bottom section of your unit, on the front. There is a grill, with a circular cut-out. This will be where the filter is housed. You will need to turn the handle counter-clockwise to release.

Now, in newer units, the filter will be located inside the refrigerator compartment, just above the top shelf, in the right, or left corner. if both locations do not show a filter, check the backside of the unit for a 8 inch cylindrical device.

Whirlpool AWM 6100/s - stopping mid cycle, not draining - unusual whirring noises, programme stops with '0' and '100' flashing on spin meter as well as paus and 'wash'

Yeah. This is a pump problem. Our machine first did this about 3 months ago. I took the filter plug out and removed about 10 coins from around the pump impeller area! I removed the pump and dismantled it. Unfortunately water was getting in past the seal on the pump spindle. I cleaned it all out and reassembled it. Worked fine till a couple of weeks ago. It has worn out the spindle "bearings" and because of the loose play it gets stuck, intermittently. If you are by the machine when the drain cycle starts , you can give the filter housing a few bangs(take off the circular cover) . The pump will start up .It makes a grumbly sound, as it is knackered. But once started will generally keep going. The answer however is a new pump. And probably a pact with everyone in your household to be more careful not to leave stuff in the clothes you put in the machine. Our washer has got through 2 mobile phones. a packet of bradding nails, a lot of cash, both coins and notes.Various other stuff that i wont mention! The pump gets very hot when it is trying to turn but cant because of debris on the impeller. This will lead to the pump failing after a time.

The oil filter is in a filter housing located on the top of the engine. Take the engine cover off. The 3, 10mm nuts are located under the circular pop-off covers that attach the plastic engine cover. You should see the oil filter housing to the right of the engine valve cover. The oil filter housing is a black, plastic cylinder with a cover that unscrews. The filter is inside of this. Make sure you drain the oil before unscrewing the cover to the filter housing.

Not solution i need

The pump cleanout is located on the front of the machine, bottom right corner. There are only three screws holding the bottom cover on. It is easy to get to if you prop it up a few inches off the ground.
