I cant receive any text but i can send how d o i resolve this problem

This is a common issue when you switch SIMs/Service Providers.

Ring your Cell/Mobile Service provider and ask them for the SMS MESSAGE CENTRE NUMBER and how to enter it in your specific cellphone (they may actually ask you to consult your cellphone manual to enter this sms msg centre number usually found in the SMS advanced settings of your phone).

Hope it helps!

Yes, your phone will work in the Philippines. The Xperia X10 is a quad-band phone, meaning it supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 frequency bands.
For 3G broadband (call/data) use, the phone supports HSDPA 900/1700/2100 bands (the US version is slightly different with 850/1900/2100/800). This again means you'll be able to make calls in most countries in the world, including the Philippines, as well as stream data on a broadband mobile network (internet, data calls etc).
"Unlocked" simply means that you as a consumer are able to choose the network provider in your country (comparing rates and offers), as opposed to, let's say the U.S., where majority of phones are bought through the mobile provider and locked to their specific network (so a Nokia phone bought for AT&T would not work on Verizon's or Sprint's network).
When shopping for a phone, you end up paying more out-of-pocket at purchase time for an unlocked one, as the phone is not subsidized by the network provider. On the other hand you may be able to save in the long run since you are not tied to a long term contract with a mobile provider.

The phone is probably locked to an specific provider.  Try using other sims from other providers to verify this.  If the error was gone after inserting the correct provider SIM, check link below on how to unlocked the phone

The phone can't be open here in the philippines

Hello there! Have you tried using your country's available network carriers or subscriber's identity modules (SIMs)? If yes but it didn't work, best chances are, your phone is locked to a different (or international) network. You can also refer to your mobile phone brand shops.

You need to insert the country code in front of the number only.

I think your country(Philippines) code is 63.
entre the phone number as

E71 cellphone cannot send message but can receive

Go into the SMS settings menu and check that the correct profile is selected. This is usually the name of the mobile phone companythat is providing the service. If you have 2 sims installed check each profile.
