i am not an expert but i remember when my computer wasnt working and wouldnt install the recovery the dell people told me to put the computer into safe mode. try that.
if you dont know u hold down the power button untill the screen is blank. then when you turn on the power you will see 2 buttons or 3. one is start windows normaly, another is start windows in safe mode
hi, is your computer a windows vista or Xp. if it is a vista then the most common problem is that windows vista comes with uploaded rubbish like game demos and other unwanted stuff so the solution is to delete all those stuff.
if it is xp then the best thing you can do is to go to disk cleanup or check you system memory
