I am having trouble removing my old keyboard software to enable use of my new wireless keyboard

I previously had a Handspring Visor with a mechanical attached keyboard & the software for that. I downloaded all the old files from my Visor to my new Tungstan E and had only a few minor glitches. That is until I tried to use a new wireless keyboard with the Tungstan E. It will not allow me to install the softare for the new keyboard (it states I already have software) and when I try to remove the keyboard software file I get a message that says "Unable to delete keyboard". Thus I have had a wireless & useless keyboard .
Any suggestions?
