Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console

2 Answers

Hi ,I purchased ab Ique nintendo DS lite through the net. It came with a cd and a R$ SDHC 4 gb card. The instructions indicated to update the kernel from the language folder in the CD.These were not found though the file TTMenu and TTMenu.dat which i assume updates the kerner are found on the net.In any case the nintendo first kept loading and never worked. Then I tried downloading the files described above and it still had the same symptom "just loading " .What can I do to fix it?

When downloading kernal of the latest version ie 1.21 you will only be able to use this software with the updated R4 which is the R4 V2 SC which is has only been released in August 08 in uk. The old R4 wont work and you just get the loading screen. for the old R4 you need the 1.19 version. My kids have different versions as I got them 6 months apart and it took ages to work out why one would work but not the other!

yes, i guess the problem is in your r4 card, i worked in a r4 factory before, there are too many kinds ,you must be ensure you downloaded the right kernel from the official website for your r4 card, there are too many kinds r4 card, the best way is find website from your card's face, on the sticker, if your card is www.r4ds.cn, i am sorry , it is generation of ta past product, their official has stop to update, so the kernel and the game you hack is old details, if you would like to update a power r4 card, i suggest you to get a r4i3ds which can support ds dsl dsxl dsll dsi N3ds console, we name it r4i3ds card, but there also more than 3-8kinds with diffirent official website over market, as i known, the r4i3ds gold http://gamehouse88.com/original-r4i-gold-for-ndslndsi-nds-n3ds-a-set-p-71.html , and r4i-sdhc red ,http://gamehouse88.com/buy-r4i-sdhc-3ds-card-for-nintendo-3ds-dsi-xl-dsi-ndsl-p-75.html
those two kinds, their still keeping update their kernel per month, and hack new game for buyer per month too, the free game download for those two kind cards, you can take a look or download from following easy ..hope can help ypu http://gamehouse88.com/blog/category/ds-game

I have just bought R4 SDHC Upgrade Revolution for DS card and sd I have downloaded the new Kernell and put my games on the sd card. When I put the card in the ds lite there is a red menu light and that is...

When you copied the R4 software to the SD card you either missed something or put something in the wrong place. This is the most likely cause of nothing happening when you turn on your DS. It's also possible that you are using an oder version of the software. Follow the link provided.

R4i SDHC Upgrade Revolution refuses to work

If you have a normal DS or DS lite, the R4i will not work as this is designed for the DSi.

Hope this helps

R4i gold and Micro SDHC 4GB card ,I download software Kernel V1.32 from R4i GOLDwebsite. When I start my Nintendo everything looks OK, but when I select the game, start loading, and shortly afterwards...

If you can get into the card menu then you have the right software, but it sounds like severe instability like a fake card would have. Try the <a href="http://www.dscardworld.com">R4i SDHC</a>. It's been proven to work better then the R4i Gold.

My ds lite has: "system date error" how do i fix

Hi there,

Let us investigate in this matter and try to resolve it.

Since the 10th of April, 2010, some users of the Nintendo DS and DSi and the R4i SDHC card have experienced an error that stops the DS card / DSi card from being used. The error contains the message “Loading… System date error! Please check NDS system date” when a user turns on their Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS Lite, Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL console.
The reason of this error seems to be an incompatibility between the actual system date on the Nintendo DS console and the R4i SDHC card. This is possible of the Nintendo DS was played until it lost all power, or if the memory card within the R4i SDHC was formatted incorrectly. It can also be attributed to the date simply being incorrectly calibrated. In some situations, transferring a .SAV file from another Nintendo DS that has a different system date on it, can also trigger the problem. It currently seems to be that the problem only manifested itself after the 10th of April, 2010. While the team behind the R4i SDHC are working on a fix to be a future part of a software update, consumers are advised to go into their Nintendo DS system settings and set the date back until the R4i SDHC card can continue to function as normal. In some cases, setting the date back up to a month is required to temporarily solve the problem.
google_protectAndRun("ads_core.google_render_ad", google_handleError, google_render_ad); Until a software solution is found, the R4i SDHC team would suggest consumers keep their dates wound back. To hear the latest about what solutions, both temporary and permanent, please visit the blog on http://www.dscardworld.com where solutions will be tested before presented to the public.
Hope that works.

When turning nintendo ds lite on it comes up with this message System date error! Please check NDS system date.

it is just an eol (End Of Live) in the software of your ds card.
Plug out your ds and remove your r4 card.
Plug on your ds and change the date to 2009.
Plug out your ds and insert your r4 cart.
Plug on your ds and you can play again.
Now there wil be new software on the internet who is an update on the old software, so if you want to renew your software ist there on the net.
