I have a Ricoh Aficio 1045 I bought from an auction, and when I turn it on it asks me for a user key. I have no idea what the previous owner's user key was. Any way to bypass or set the unit to factory default settings? Thanks

There is a service code to disable the key counter. I'll have to look it up. If you are not connected to a network, you can still use the copier without being hooked up to one. That is just a warning message. You can clear it out by pressing user tools counter. Select interface and set all ip addresses to 0.0.0.0.
