I have a KLIC 7001 battery and a Kodak model K7700 charger. When I plug my battery into the charger I get a short green light then a short red light and then nothing.I dont know what to do

The user manual for the Kodak EasyShare M1063 camera states it takes a Kodak Li-Ion rechargeable digital camera battery, KLIC 7001.

Page 1, Step 2 even has an illustration of the battery and the direction in which to install it.

If the battery still does not fit, I suggest you visit a nearby store which sells cameras and camera equipment and ask one of the individuals working there for assistance with the battery and camera. (Take the camera and battery with you.)

the battery might be bad. One thing I learned with drills, is to never charge a battery directly after use (if it feels warm), and do not use when warm from the charger. I'm not sure on specialized batteries, but normal batteries like AA, AAA etc. only last about one year or so.

Yes the charger will work with any of the playsport Z-series cameras.

It most likely means that the battery is almost dead and you should get a new one.

You can used the USB cable to charged the camera, But some of the M863 camera will not take charged usign the USB cable., I strongy suggest used the AC adaptor just make sure the AC adaptor is 5V ac adaptor it will only charged using the 5V adaptor., About the flashing green it indicates camera is charging just wait for the solid green light it means it fully charged

You may purchased also a special charger for your battery(KLIC-7001)- cahrer model is K8600-C. i think the price of this charger is around $29.00

if you charged the battery on your camera it should have blinking green.
If your using the KLIC-7001 please clean the 3 metal contacts on your battery using a clean dry cloth, then try to charged again., make sure the charger that you are using is working fine example AC adaptor or the USB cable. now if you still encounter the problem call kodak to setup the camera for repair call toll free 1 800 235 6325., Gudluck!

are you using the recommended battery KODAK Li-Ion Rechargeable Digital Camera Battery KLIC-7001? if yes did you charged your battery? If yes try to check if the camera has blinking light on it while its charging? if doesnt have the light there might be a problem on the camera or may be the charger.

I went ahead and looked this up for you. Kodak says you need a Li-Ion Rechargeable Digital Camera Battery KLIC-7001.
