I changed both Convergence IC's, plus a resistor that was burnt. But now when I try to go into menu to adjust convergence. I just get a black screen. I was reading about how I have to save my setting to memory, but I dont't know how. I start by pressing the service sw (s801) button on the convergence board and I get the screen for convergence adjustment, but don't know how to adjust it.

It's recommended to replace all the defective parts first because if you only replace the defective resistor, it might burnt again if the convergence IC is shorted internally. I would also suggest to measure the other low value resistors with multimeter.
Looking the convergence board from the side of the resistors (The chips will be behind the resistors), you have from de left to right:
1.5 ohms, 150ohms, 220ohms, 2.2ohms, 3.3 ohms, 220ohms, 1.8ohms, 220ohms, 150ohms, 150ohms, 1.5ohms, and dispose horizontal in relation of the other resistors (the one near to the Ic is 2.2ohms and the other is 220ohms).
Check for a burnt resistor on the convergence circuit board. This is usually what happens when the green gets distorted as the green is not adjustable only through the service menu so its either a burnt resistor or a leaky capacitor. Resistor is far more likely. Let me know if you need any further information.
This sounds like not only convergence but also bad resistors on the convergence board. There are several resistors in the convergence area, I would change the convergence amps and have the resistors replaced. Look for burnt resistor or just colored differently than the others. check also for loose connections. you can tap on safely converg. board and see if problem changes.
