Question about Durabrand DB1200 CD Player
I was reading about car stereo problems, er-3 seems to be a standard error code for "unreadable", whether it's scratched or upside down or a bad disc burn. When I get this message, it seems to have no bearing whether it's a burned cd or not. If anything, I have better luck with burned cd's. Most advice says to try cleaning the lens. I just moved to somewhere very humid, and condensation is very common in car stereos here. so i'm told. i tried spraying air at it. it worked just fine for a few days after this. then the problem came back. i tried spraying air again. didn't work. kept trying and now i have to figure out how to get the straw thingy back out of my cd player!
i think the real problem is i spent $50 on a cd player and you get what you pay for!
but maybe this is the solution for some of you. hope this info helps.

According to the manual er-3 is a "Servo error or the disc is in upside down". I wish i were kidding but that is what the manual says.
