Question about Microsoft Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer

1 Answer

Wireless Intellimouse Explorer Not Working.

A month ago my Wireless Intellimouse Explorer mouse stopped working. The matching Wirless Comft Keyboard still works, but th mouse simply stopped. thinking it was a dead mouse tried new batteries, but that didn't solve it.

I tried my old USB Intellimouse & that worked immediately so I was able to remove & reinstall the drivers for the Wireless desktop but that didn't work either. The funny thing is I tested the Wireless mouse on another Wireless Destop PC & it worked just fine!

My guess is that sme driver or device setting ahs become corrupted but i have no idea where or what to do aout it.

Any & all help appreciated.

Normal 0 Normal 0 Recheck the magnifier to see if its set right.
Go to Control Panel and click on the Mouse icon. Then the mouse properties will appear showing the mouse buttons. In the Left column is the button settings. The bottom one is the Right Button, which is set for Magnify. Whenever you hit the Right Side button the magnifier will turn on. To turn it off, hit the Right Side Button and off it goes. You can change any of the button settings by clicking on the drop down.
Hope this helps. Bud

MS Wireless IntelliMouse 2.0 pointer direction reversed (up/down)

Go into the control panel and click on the mouse icon and see if you can change to settings back to normal.

If not then check under your start menu and see if the intellimouse software is installed there and go into it to change the settings from there.
