I have lost my manual for my Sharp EL - 18011P calculator. I cannot seem to be able to put a new paper roll on. Can you help me?

you may need to cut the corners off a little bit on the start of the new roll and feed the paper in while advancing with the calculator advance control/button

Turn off the Sharp EL-1801V.

2 Cut the end of the replacement paper roll for a fresh edge and to ensure a smooth feed. Do not tear the paper roll, as feeding a torn paper roll can cause a paper jam.

3 Insert the cut edge into the paper opening on the back of the Sharp EL-1801V. Hold the paper roll so that the edge being fed into the machine is coming from the bottom of the roll. Turn the power on.

4 Press the "Feed" button until the paper is fed through the unit. Lift the metal paper roll holder up. Slide the paper roll onto the paper-roll holder.

Your calculater takes 2 1/4 inch wide standard rolls of paper. These rolls are available all over the place so you should have no trouble finding the rolls.

There should be a small slot towards the back. The paper gets fed from the back bottom, and it comes through the top just behind the display.
IF you take your roll of paper, tear off a fresh new edge, make an arrow point at the end (fold 1 side to the middle, and then fold the other side to the middle to meet the other side) to make the paper look like : " > " then insert the pointed side in the slot, and then press PAPER FEED at the same time. The paper should start feeding and you should be good to go.
