Question about Dell Latitude 110L Notebook

Dell 110L PC Notebook: mouse doesn't work

I took my laptop apart, and the wire that connects the mouse (not really a mouse, but the finger thing on a laptop) came unconnected... I can't find where to plug it back in. Its similiar to the way the keyboard connection looks, but I cant find a home for it... anybody have a pic of the inside of a 100L? THANKS.

Get out your your Magnifying glass ... it can't be further on the board then the cable would reach... on my insprion it is almost below where the touchpad sits. also dell has service manuals available for viewing from their site... just click on support and search for your model number

Display works but there is no light.when i turn on the notebook light turns on few seconds and then turn off.dell latitude 110 l.


connect an external laptop screen to inverter leaving the display nap on the laptops original screen.if the external screen lights up and off then replace the inverter.if not then the bulb in the dell laptop screen needs to be replaced.contact me for more info tel.75376764

I have dell 110L inspirion with XP professional.


I think your Windows installation is damaged. Boot from your operating system CD. (Go into setup mode F2 or delete during bootup. Go to the Boot select screen and set up to boot from CD. Place your OS CD in the drive and power on.) When it boots, it should give you the option of REPAIR. Select this and allow Windows to repair itself. I hope this helps you resolve your problem.

  1. Disconnect power supply
  2. Remove battery
  3. Wait 30 seconds
  4. Reïnsert battery
  5. Reconnect power supply
  6. Try to boot again

in Windows 95, 98, ME, and XP
start in safe mode F8, go to control panel, users, remove old password
