Smeg di612ca (e2 error msg)

I have recently started having problems with the dishwasher beeping then stopping about 5 mins into its cycle , The error msg in the manual of the trouble shooting section suggest's that the error code is E2 .
I have turned it off and reset it a dozen times but the same problem keeps occuring.

I have a Smeg DI 612 CA Dishwasher. It fails to complete any cycles and displays an E2 fault. This is described as the system that limits the water has tripped. The dishwasher apppears to fill and drain and the float switch on the base panel has not tripped. I have tried to reset the dishwasher but to no avail. Beginning to suspect the printed circuit board is faulty.

You may have to give a little more information.
Have a look at the manual, here -

and check for error codes/lights etc (p17; faults E1-E9)
Hope this helps

My smeg dishwasher stopped during a cycle and warning lights E2 come on. suggesting that it has drawn too much water and to contact customer technical services, any idea what i need to do

E2 shows that the water level switch has been tripped or its faulty, interupt the programm and switch off the dishwasher then switch it on ,programm it again and start the washing cycle again,if the problem persist then test the water level switch for possible replacement

E2 error in smeg dishwasher

e2 is overfill or flooded base.
take the bottom front panel off and see if there is water in it and if so, mop it out. if it reoccurs, then you have a leak.
you will see a float device in the front approx middle and this is what actuates e2. if fault is intermittant, try putting a small weight on this - a washer for example.
if e2 is being caused by overfill and not a flooded base, then the water intake moulding needs replacing

Danby ddw497w will only be about 5 min into cycle when digital code E2 appears it then starts beeping 2 min after this it just stops the unit is only one day old it ran once yesterday fine now i get this...

I just spoke with the Customer Service rep from Danby... She said tht an E2 error has to do with the hoses. Usually it means that the hose is too high to drain properly, there is a kink in the hose or the pump is faulty.

Hope this helps!
