I do not know, but the original grid numbers are (for region 4 at least) 1,8,9,10,19,21,22. May be if you input them this may help.

Here is the steps to make your dvd player region free:

1. get the system grid to change region.
2. change to region 2 first.
3. then change to all regions.

Part 1 -> Getting to the grid
make sure the disc tray is closed
press buttons below one after each other
1) Repeat
2) Fast Reverse (3) Next Ch (>>')
4) Fast Fwd (>>)
5) Prev Ch ('6) Play (>)
Take a note of the highlighted numbers (just in case!) in
case you need to do it all again.

Part 2 -> Change player to region 2.
Using the grid make your player into region 2 by
highlighting the numbers 2,8,19,21,22,24 then PLAY button to
save settings(this will turn your player off - you need to
turn it back on by pressing power button

Select the language again then proceed to part 3.

Part 3 -> Change player to region 0 (all regions)
Press the following buttons:
1) Repeat
2) Fast Fwd
3) Fast Rev
4) Fast Fwd
5) Up
6) Down
You should see a 0 on the top left corner!!!

Player is now REGION FREE.

is easy and follow the steps, use the common sense. God bless you

Click the "Start" Button and from the right-side options menu select "Computer." This will bring up the selectable drives menu.

  • 2 Right click the DVD you wish to unlock and select "Properties."

  • 3 Select the "Hardware" tab from the properties menu. Under "Name" you will see a list of all disk drives. Select your DVD drive from the list by single clicking the drive name. Select "Properties" from the bottom right corner of the window.

L need a multi region code for a panasonic dmr-ez47v.

Panasonic DMRs cannot be unlocked for muliti region simply by entering a code form the normal remote or front panle controls.

Panasonic machines require a special remote control in order to make them multi region. Panasonic dealers will unlock your machine for you but will charge you - this is expensive.

Alternatively, if you search eBay you will find devices that will unlock your machine that can be purchased or "rented", for considerably less than a dealer will charge.

I can't put my nokia 6300 into restore factory settings mode..

The defaulkt security code for Nokia is 12345. You can reset the security code using : *#7328748263373738#. It works on most nokia phones. Worth giving a try.

And if the phone says simcard rejected, then the most common problem is that the phone probably might have been locked. You can get it unlocked for 5 quids in your local market.

    BIOS doesn't find SATA HDD

    Hi fallacy,

If you have the system disks and you can boot from CD, I would just follow the prompts to reload the operating system. If the computer cannot see the CD or HardDrive you need to reset the BIOS setting to factory default settings and that should restore the drives to be used. Note: Hard Drive should be Primary Master and CD-Rom, (not DVD-Rom if you have one) should be Secondary Master. If you have a DVD Rom drive I recommend unplugging both power and data cords from it and making sure the CD-ROM is set to Secondary Master, NOT Secondary Slave.

This should allow you to boot to a CD and reload the operating system. Unfortunately your files are lost.

    Screen reads FACTORY DIAG MODE

I had the "Factory Diag Mode" and was dismayed that I could not find a solution in any of my online searches. But I finally got it to work with only a minor side-effect, so I thought I'd share.

I originally tried the following from the "Live XM" mode:
Go settings, setup, restore defaults, restore setting only.

That didn't seem do anything for me. Then I tried the same thing from the "My Music" mode.
    That fixed it!!!
The only thing that I noticed that I lost was my channel favorites (hardly a worry at all). All of my saved songs and playlists are still there!!!

Hopefully this will help a poor soul in need
