I've been trying all of these suggestions, finally lying the camera on it's back (lens up) I hit the power button while wiggling the lens. This WORKED!! The lens retracted properly and seems to work fine now.

Error message FEE on aperture

Make sure the lens is mounted on the camer fully. Make sure the aperture ring is set for the largest numbe like 22 or 32 if the lens has it. Some lenses have a lock to lock the aperture ring on the largest number for you. Also make sure the lens you are using is compatible with the F65 camera. if the lens is older then it will not give you any electronic data and the camera will never give you the f information in the viewfinder.

Petax Optio E60 lens error of 0x15110000

This is probably THE most common failure among digital cameras. There's a halfway chance of fixing it yourself, described here: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html

Zoom error

I had sent my camera in for the same issue and they did nothing to help with it. Seems to happen when battery gets low or dies, lack of on-screen battery meter doesn't help. Typically have to manually twist the lens to close it or open it after fresh batteries installed and then seem to fix it.

Lens error

This may be related/helpful: My S3 in normal home use (no sand, wet or shock) just now displayed the ?Lens cover error? message, with cover only half open. Using a tooth pick I ?eased? it gently and it popped open, took a few trial pictures- fine, but would not fully close unless eased. Now will open and close slowly on own but error message blocks camera use. Then spotted cause - a loose thin sliver of silver trim from below flash around (there?s a gummy substance where it should be). When I first saw one end of this it was between the lens cover and the camera body as tho part of the mechanism, so I did not touch it. Now I know it?s jamming the lens cover operation is it OK to open the camera case to get it out? Questions: (a) Has anyone done this please? (b) Will this clear error message? Thanks.
