Everything is working except the video button....I can't make it work with my TV. It did work at one time but just stopped. I changed the batteries, but it still will not work.
Maybe you can help me.

Turn off the breaker that controls power to the fan. Remove the batteries from the remote and press the buttons in case one is stuck. Reinstall batteries or new ones. Turn on the fan breaker and try using the remote again
these fans must be reset as follows remove the battery from the remote manually turn off the wall power switch put the batteries back in the remote turn on the wall power switch press the remote buttons...if this doesn't work let me know
The remote is a Hampton Bay remote that should dim the light and fan on and off. I replaced the battery and do not have a red light when I press the button. Light and fan does not turn off with remote.
i have a problem with remote ceailing fan and light i tried push on light key - dim light low to high working but fan isnt working hi to low. i checked the supply wire red, white and black so i have a installing receiver and receiver have red receiver wire to black supply wire, white receiver wire to white supply wire , but what i do with red supply wire to QQQQ
If the switch is "OFF" on the wall, the remote will not control anything. The power has to reach the receiver first. If it worked before you turrned the swich off, than one of two things. Either
A: You blew a circuit to the unit or
B: Your receiver went out.
First thing I would do is check that POWER is getting to the receiver.
