Question about Televison & Video
Switched my tv off it was working fine when i switched it back on it would not switch on manually with remote or by the tv power button the remote is working its somehow locked
We had bought the extended warranty, so we took it back and got a new TV of a different brand. We had to pay the difference, but it was worth it. The warranty even carried over to the new TV.

SOURCE: Television "locked"
This is usually a child lock feature and/or a function to keep people from changing your tv settings when company is over. The only way to get it out is to get the original remote and the manual for the set (would help if we knew the model and make) to unlock it. Sometimes the universal remotes will lock them as i think this is the issue here.
