Can not raise the handle bars on the Huffy Mojava Gulch?

You need to loosen the front bolt that holds the handle bars to the front wheel raise it to your desired position and then tighten it again, making sure that the handle bars are at the position you desire them. This will lock them in place so you can ride your bike and not let them fall back down deeper into the front wheel shaft.

I have a Huffy 3speed "Sea Trails" 26' mens

Best to take into a bike shop, Internal hubs are tricky even with exploded views. The only source for these views I know of is Barnett repair manuals (most shops have them), but they do not provide free product from Barnett.

http://www.sheldonbrown.com/sw.html

There are a number of brands and models of 3-speed hubs you need to know at least the brand and model to get an accurate exploded view and better yet the year as they change. Shimano and a few other manufactures do make exploded views available for replacement parts but the barnett manual actually tells you "how" to fix it.

Just got this bike it was unassembled. The instruction manual had a different front axle than mine. Mine has the quick release and I can't get the tire tight. I think I am putting the quick release...

on my tips and tricks page are links to owners manuals for Schwinn and Huffy. they are all the same, Those respective websites with the links have clear instructions on quick releases.

Your quick release has three parts
1. shaft with lever
2. nut
3. springs x 2

Take the lever apart, remove the nut and both springs. install one spring large side onto the shaft all the way up against the lever side, slide the shaft through the hub axle center, install the other spring on the shaft opposite the lever small side facing the hub, then screw on the nut. look to the video for the rest.

I need to replace the stem on my Huffy Black Widow bike because it's too long. I just want to know what the specs are on the stock stem so I can purchase another one that's shorter that will fit properly.

A Bicycle Shop would be able to help you determine what it is and what would work better for you. There are 4 main measurements: steerer tube diameter, handlebar clamp diameter, reach (in cm) and rise (in degrees).

The threadless steerer tube style you have can also be flipped over to provide a different rise and reach. Consider that.

I bought the huffy 16"

It's pretty hard to know how to help you exactly. But this may help--- if you have (or can borrow) a digital camera, take close-up pictures of your parts then take the camera with you to a Wal-mart or wherever this bike is sold. Compare your pictures to one on display. Or better yet, take the whole bike with you. Or just take close-up pictures of the bike on display. It might also be useful to know that the front fork (that is the two metal bars about 10 inches long that point toward the ground that the wheel attaches to) sometimes have to be spread apart just a bit to fit the wheel's axle in place. I'm talking about maybe 1/4 inch or so. If it's a lot more than that the fork may have gotten bent in shipment and you should take it back.
good luck, Merry Christmas. Al K

The chain will not properly shift on the 3 front spockets. I need to know how to adjust it correctly.

first thing is to check the cable itself.set the chain onto the small sprocket.now check to see if the cable has play.should feel like a guitar string.if not unloosen the cable at the front derailier.retighten using a pair of pliers to pull the cable tight as you tighten the screw back up.hope this helps
