Open start menu and find the interplay folder in all programs. Right click on Starfleet Academy icon and select Properties Go to the compatibility tab and tick the following Run this program in compatibility mode for (Select Windows 98/Me/XP) Settingsrun in 256 colors run in 640 x 480 screen resolution that should solve the problem if i doesn't try running it as admin as well this will work for most of the OLD games too
WIndows Vista allows you to run it in compatibility mode for previous Windows versions such windows XP. I suggest you try it and see if it works. To do this, Right-Click on Pinball.exe and click properties
In the properties window there is an option called compatibility. CLick on that tab. Once you click that you will see an option called run this program in compatibility mode for... Click the checkbox next to that and choose Windows XP service Pack 2 from the list
