part #AWU1316 Pdp Service Panel it is listed as no longer avaible because they do not sell the pdp to the public or non service centers

then it is defective and you should take it back and get another one , this does happen from the moving of the tv's before they are sold

It sounds like a bad plasma panel but I would have to see a picture to be sure

Loose connections in the AV board. Re solder . Did you try in video 2 or 3 ?....But Am suggested re solder AV board and connectors. I hope this help you I am here any time thank you!!!

I have a philips 50pf7321d plasma tv and the screen suddenly split, half picture on each side of screen, and black bar inthe middle.


Black bar caused by a short IC on the ribbon of the plasma panel. Unfortunately it requires a new plasma panel. Cost of a new unit.

Not to me, but it also depends on if you could do this yourself or not. And the area you are in sometimes is responsible for the cost being high.
