Question about MSI TVAnywhere Plus (TVANYWHEREPLUS) Video Capture

MSI TV@nywhere cadr install

I installed the MSI TV@anywhere card to My Desk Top and everytime I try to use it I get the errors below... My operating system is vista

TV Channel setting is corrupted, please re-set your TV channel...


Invalid floating point application

    Same deal here. Only happens with service pack 1 three times straight now.. The kicker is it works flawlessly even with media center in Windows7. Yep MS fixed it I didnt do anything to install that card. I figured since Vista was a bust 7 would be too. Go figure. Im still looking for a solution

You need to visit this forum and dowload the patch to patch SP1 . That makes it work

the drivers might not be installed correctly you might have to uninstall the graphics card restart your computer then reinstall thye graphics card and its drivers

If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it

Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers

My driver is old for windows7

if you are having trouble with your drivers
here is a general look at the drivers and how to update them
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools ,computer management ,device manager look through all of your devices if you see a yellow question mark?or exclamation mark ! or red x
right click to reinstall drivers or
if you can see your usb but its not working
ports(com&lpt)right click update driver hope this helps

I think msi didnt released a driver for windows7. You can check it from this link
Just try the XP version. But its not guaranteed to work. Or you can contact MSI toll-free number:

I installed tv@anywhere plus pic is great no audio. What pins on the card are used to hook up to audio card?

Audio problem - tv@anywhere plus

i have been useing a tv anywhere master for some years now, good card. take a look at the cables,and settings in the pvr software, mine mutes itself sometimes, so now before i view video, i check these settings. hope this is helpful..

You could try using Media Portal as your 'TV grabber' you can check it out at You're most likely not going to get the MSI software to work properly on Vista until they release a compatible version. If you still want to use that software you'll have to switch back to XP. MSI doesn't have a lot of motivation to upgrade their software to Vista compatibility because most of their users are still on XP.
