Left auger not working. Msg. says "auger fault" then "sensor".

hi, from my experience 1. the main board/ecu may have a faulty solenoid. there are two solenoids on the board, 1 for each side. if the left auger works, then it's the right solenoid. its close to im[possible to replace the solenoids unless u have good connections to china!!
2. the right motor auger in the back might have a fault or bad electrical connection, very rare.
exchange the electrical connections to the motor from left to right and vice versa. then you know what is faulty.

The shear pin is sheared off. Somewhere along the auger, you'll find a hole drilled all the way through it. The shaft inside also has a hole drilled all the way through it. Compare the two augers - the holes are USUALLY in a straight line with each other (when one is up/down, the other is also up/down).

Get a replacement shear pin (DO NOT use a hardened bolt!) and put it through the holes when the auger holes are lined up with the axle holes.

clean off the torque board in the back in front of the motor

If you've checked the auger for jams and there was nothing there, check the receptacle the auger is plugged into to make sure it's working and a circuit breaker in your home's circuit breaker hasn't been tripped. If it has been tripped, reset it to see what happens. If it trips again, check the electrical outlet for wear or a loose wire. If everything checks out alright, you will need to replace the auger motor or the circuitry that operates it automatically.

Alternately you could try telephone directories for spares suppliers but I would think the former would be more successful.

this fridge unit isnt well known to me but most follow suit in design. I would say having an electronic board normally refers that there is an auger motor controlling the fridge temperature. As the demand for temp. is needed the electronic sensor will instruct the new board to open and close the auger motor flap accordingly. Possibly the motor is stuck or faulty or the sensor faulty. My bet is to check the auger motor. Call him in again and ask him to check it with you. (Normally mechanical control works with a thermostat whereas an electronic control works with an auger.

Strange... open your Internet page. Go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs. What shows as your default mail client? Try changing it from that to another and try left clicking a link and let us know what happens.
