Hello ,
Welcome to fixya.
I'm Huuum and happy to assist you,

You asked, is there anyway to bypass the oven lock or bypass the self cleaning mode to get oven working?

Why do you need to do this?

If the door lock is stuck in closed position and preventing you from using the range?
You may free this by following this procedure.

Threat it like an error code.

This can reset the system.
Turn the breaker off to cut the power for 5 minutes.
Then restart the breaker and try the range.

It's like rebooting your computer when its acting strange!
Usually it corrects most problems!.
Or they are sometimes just a glitch.

If this does not remedy the problem, then the lock switch itself is bad and if you think you can bypass it then you may as well change it. Same labor!!.
Let me know how it works out.

Huuum

    Paulface, I GOT IT!!
I my have found the solution to your problem.
Your range is equipt with a lock out system!
Here are two methods to stop lock out

    Gas/Control Lockout (on some models)

Your control will allow you to lock out the

surface burners, oven burners and control

panel so they cannot be activated.

    To lock/unlock the controls:

    Turn all surface burners off.

    Touch and hold the Gas/Control

Lockout pad for 3 seconds until the

    display shows LOC ON.

To unlock the control, touch and hold the

Gas/Control Lockout pad for 3 seconds

until the display shows LOC OFF.

When this feature is on and the touch pads

are touched, the control will beep and the

    display will show LOC ON.

The control lockout mode affects all

controls. No controls will work when this

    feature is activated.

The adjustment will be retained in memory

    after a power failure.

    *************************************************************************************

    Control Lockout (on some models)

Your control will allow you to lock out the

touch pads so they cannot be activated when

touched or cleaning the glass panel.

    To lock the controls:

Touch the 9 and 0 touch pads at the

same time for 3 seconds until the

control beeps twice. The display will

show LOC continuously and the time

of day if not blacked out.

NOTE: All cooking and timing functions will be

cancelled when locking out the control.

To unlock the control, touch the

9 and 0 touch pads at the same time

for 3 seconds until the control beeps

twice, and LOC will be removed from

    the display.

NOTE: Some models have a Control Lockout

pad. Touch and hold it for 3 seconds to

    lock/unlock.

Do not forget to leave a rating afterwards!
    Thank You

PAUL FACE, I FOUND A BYPASS!,

Let me see if we can help you with this. First try killing
the power to the oven for 30 seconds and see if the locking mech
resets. If nothing changes try this: kill the power for at least ten
    seconds, power back up,simultaneously
press the cooking time, delay start and the number 8 pad. Test should
appear in the display. Press and hold the self clean key, this will
test the lock motor and cam assy. The display should show 2 on the left
(for locked) and change to 3 on the left for unlocked. Travel time of
the cam will display a 0 between locked and unlocked. You must hold the
self clean key for these changes. This latch mechanism is thermally
controlled and sends a message to the main board to lock and unlock
during self cleaning. We are just bypassing this with this test. Your
temperature sensor may have gone bad during the self cleaning cycle.
This is the probe located in the oven cavity. If you know anyone that
is handy with a meter, it should ohm out at 1092 ohms at room temp. If
this checks out, someone will have to open the top and check the lock
    motor and cam.

Huuum NOW let me know if you got in!.
    I'm trying for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oven wont turn on.

I tried several times to get my oven to work and nothing seemed to help. After downloading the manual from this site, my husband locked and unlocked the oven door several times very hard and it knocked something in place and now my oven works. I hope it works for you.
