What new one? The phone or the screen? If new phone then reinstall the firmware and your password will be overwritten. And do not use another one. If a new screen (lcd) then fix it and the reinstall the firmware. That is the only solution for lost/forgotten passwords, new screen or not. AND do not use is password in future.
I advise you to buy a charger with the current and voltage ratings
provided on the battery with the USB output and connect the phone with the data
cable to get it charged.Or you can directly connect to the computer to get it charged.
If it will turn on a little, tap the icon for the battery in the upper right hand corner of your main screen. This will bring up a "system status" screen. Tap the icon of the battery there also. It will then pull up a tabbed screen. Under the "battery" tab, make sure that the check box next to "when device is turned on, do not charge the battery when connecting to the PC" is UNCHECKED. Then try plugging it into a USB port and see if it will charge or sync. I hope this helps!
This could be one of (at least) two things. Screens have a digitizer built in. Your digitizer could have blown out, or your connector could be loose/corroded/moist. Fixing any or all of these involves opening your mobile. Have it serviced. If you do it yourself, you WILL violate your warranty, guaranteed. If they determine that the screen/digitizer unit is nonfunctional, do not let them sell you one! Order one off of eBay, from Hong Kong or wherever, which'll run you around $26 to $30 U$Dollars. AT&T or a service place charge like $200.00 for the same item! Hope that helps. Best of luck! :-D
Download the original ROM from the HTC site, make sure the ROM you download is for your phone (AT&T 8925)
Charge your phone battery using the wall charger or use another battery charged at least at 50% in case your phone can´t be charged.
While in the tricolor screen connect your phone to your PC, run the exe file you just downloaded and follow the instructions.
After a few seconds you´ll see that the phone screen turns white with a progress bar, wait for 100% completion and a few seconds after you´ll see your phone booting again
Slmgato: have you tried to delete the old pairing on wmdc?
also to the other users: check the usb charge port on the tilt. Make sure it has not been bent or the pins have not been damaged. My tilt recently was damaged and now i can't charge or sync, but i can buy the replacement port for about 10 bucks and solder it myself.
