No display I turned on my machine yesterday afternoon and the display window was blank. Had used it in the morning & it worked fine. I tried changing the batteries..no change. Carol Davidson, Punta Gorda, FL Yes, I am having the same problem. The light bulb comes on when you hit the switch but no computer, no power to the foot pedal. My Pfaff is a workhorse and I'm dead in the water. If it's the computer board, how much is this kind of fix going to cost me? I bought my Pfaff in 1994 and it has run anywhere from 6-8 hrs a day at least 5 days a week, I can't complain........except for now!! Devasted in Arizona! Sue Ann Vannoy Huachuca City, AZ

Hi there,
I have a Pfaff Expression which went the same way, but showed the error message "WD".

My dealer advised me to change the light bulb, which I've done, and since then its been fine.

Hope this works for your too.

All the best.

My new Bernina 880 will not turn on. I have been using it daily for the past week. Last used yesterday afternoon. This morning it will not turn on.

You might try a different electrical outlet in the house or check the one you plug your sewing machine into to make it is still working. Hopefully, there wasn't an electrical surge.

My Pfaff Tiptronic 6270 does not sew.

Try unplugging the power cord from the machine, let it set for a few minutes and try plugging in again. Sometimes this will reset the machine.

Re thread your machine with a different thread, allow the thread spool a bit of play if it is position horizontal, leave your upper tension at mid range and have a go on straight stitch first. If ok then try the other patterns.

Baby lock emp6 troubleshooting

I have a Bablock EMP 6 embroidery machine. It worked great yesterday, when I turned it on this morning it read an error of X-asis home position error. The carriage moves all the way to the right and clicks a few times. It will not center right. I have never had any problems with it. When it make the clicking noise I turned the machine off. I have tried it a few times.

No display

Do any of your stitches work? Does the machine sew at all? If not, one of your circuit boards is bad or you have a blown fuse.If the machine works but you have no display, get out your instruction book and see how to adjust the brightness on your display. If it doesn't work at all, it needs to go to a technician who is familiar with and can get Pfaff parts. This usually means an authorized Pfaff dealer.
