Hi, all the maxicosi carseats will fit onto the zapp using the adaptors that come with the zapp pushchair (but not the newly rebranded bebe loola).

The difference between the maxi cosi cabriofix and the ordinary cabrio or citi is that the cabriofix can be attached to the maxicosi in-car seat base (easybase or easyfix), whereas the cabrio and citi can only be fitted in the car using the cars seatbelts, they wont attach to the incar base. Hope I have helped a bit x

Their website says: "From model year 2001 the Maxi-Cosi Citi and Maxi-Cosi Cabrio(Fix) can be placed on all pushchairs/Maxi-Taxis of the Maxi-Cosi make (with the correct adapters). From model year 2002 these car seats also fit on pushchairs of the Quinny make, with the exception of the new Quinny Zapp on which only the Maxi-Cosi Cabrio(Fix) can be placed. It is also possible to place the Maxi-Cosi Citi or Maxi-Cosi Cabrio(Fix) on pushchairs of a number of other makes.Ask your retailer."

Does Quinny carrycot bt042 goes with Quinny stroller zapp Xtra ?

Hi Yeska

No the Quinny Zapp / Quinny Zapp Xtra chassis is not suitable to use with a carrycot. Due to the lightweight and short wheel based nature of the Zapp / Zapp Xtra chassis design the use of a carrycot is dangerous as it may cause instability / tipping.

The Quinny Zapp / Quinny Zapp Xtra chassis can be used with a Maxi Cosi Pebble or Maxi Cosi CabrioFix carseat but not a carrycot.

Does the maxi cosi car seat wobble a little when fixed onto the quinny zapp frame

Slight movement is necessary as this allows for a hammock effect to prevent the baby in the carseat feeling every jolt on the way. With the weight of baby in the carseat on the chassis the movement will be less noticeable. As long as the adaptors are fitted correctly to the chassis and the carseat has been placed onto the adaptors correctly there should be no cause for concern. If you are worried that it seems to move a lot, compare your model to a shop display model and if it does seem excessive you can send your product in for our engineers to provide inspection & repair under the Quinny warranty.
