How does one clear or fix this error? I cannot access any of the menu, it seems to lock that up when showing the error... ?? your thoughts would be appreciated... I did install the software, I thought from your response this was a bios upgrade for the printer, not a network monitoring software.

Hi. You have to clear that error from service mode

select ok. Unplug of the machine for 5 second and then turn it back on
try to make some copies, if problem persists fixing heater is damaged and need to be replaced
E000001-0002 refers to the fuser assy either getting to hot or not hot enough. Fuser error codes cannot be reset by power cycling the machine even though that is what the display tells you to do. In order to reset the fuser error code you must enter the service mode & reset the code. To enter the service mode: press"Additional Functions" button (looks like a picture of a head with a star inside) press the #2 and #8 at the same time (simultaneousley) press "additional functions" again The display should show a choice of copier,feeder,sorter,fax,or board service modes Select copier select clear select ERR press OK Turn power off & back on.
After clearing error stay at the machine to see if it comes to ready. The fuser assy can reach 139 degrees C.(Water boils @ 100C) The error can only be cleared through the service mode because a technician should inspect the fuser to verify there is nothing faulty that could possibly start a fire. If you enter the service mode & clear the error, power cycle the machine & during warm up the machine throws a code again- turn it off, unplug it & call a tech for fuser repair.
Error 010-333 for this machine is "Fuser Center Thermistor Overtemp (Over temperature) or Overheat Error"
Error 010-319 for this machine doesn't seem to exist (Yes - I know you've got it - hence the problem post.)
Error 010-319 for other Workstation models (7655, 7665, 7675, 7755, 7765, 7775) is "Fuser Heat Control problem *NOTE: This code must be cleared from Diagnostic Mode"
As regards fixing this error the Xerox website should be helpful
You could have a lid magnet out of position.Quick check for that is to place a magnet over the left bumper with the lid raised and see if the OP error code clears.
If it does you need to remove the inner panel of the lid to access the lid magnet see page 32 of the Service Manual for the procedure.
If the external magnet doesn’t clear the OP error code you will have to start troubleshooting the Left Hand Lid Lock.You could have severe corrosion with and an open lead on the magnetic reed switch in the Left Hand Lid lock.Link to replacement Left Hand Lid Lock
To delay the 3 second shut down and enable the technician to access
service mode; open the front door and pull out the transport unit. Do not actuate front door microswitch.
Press the service mode button, enter " * 4 * ", scroll to error clear
and clear error code. Machine will automatically turn off power after
clear. Power up machine and test. If the power shuts down after error code has been cleared,
the cause of the error has not been corrected. Correct cause of error
code and clear error in service mode.
We followed the instructions from your tech. on which buttons to press to get into the menu function and then followed the directions for clearing the error code. After that turned the printer off and back on and the error code reset and the printer worked like a champ.
