Hey, I was able to use the manual to remove the front cover vane motor and vane mechanism. Lots of surface chucks of black mold. Can I use bleach and a spray bottle to clean this up or is it corrosive to the allumiun ? I can see how a garden hose would be helpful but very messy

Hi,
The best thing you can do is to mix a 1-10 clorox water mix and spray it down with a spray bottle...thta will kill and control the mold. a few days later rinse again to wash the **** down the drain.

Area where "fresh" air is being pulled in is dirty, filter needs replacement, heat exchanger is old, a seal is old/torn, or mold is shooting out!
