Hun, I really hate to be the bugger here, but its probably time to get a new comp. This computer is out of date by a long shot (as I can't even find the motherboard's user manual online.) I suspect that if there is a light blinking, it is blinking to the same as it's beep codes. So my suggestion is following this (as many key boards either have a small speaker for beep codes or they have an led for the same thing.) http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&docname=bph07107&dlc=en

1/ do you have an ethenet cable plugged in ? is this light located on this plug ? unplug the cable first
2/ check that the monitor is switching ON
3/ find a power switch at the back of the case and switch off and/or unplug the power cable, for at least 10 sec
4/ switch on/connect power cable, and turn computer ON
5/ if nothing happens, then power supply may be dead ; don't worry it's inexpensive and super-easy to change ! but first check the manual (or manufacturer) for the meaning of the GREEN LIGHT ! Then open the case and CHECK if the computer is perfectly CLEAN, or DIRTY ; especially double check the RAM modules ! Clean everything with air spray and soft brush (pull out processor, ram, cards, if you find lot of dirt)
6/ after cleaning try to turn on computer again ; if fails, go to buy a new cheap power supply that fits your motherboard, or try to find someone that can lend you one for testing

good luck

3 blinking lights green, one orange on start up

Try to pull out your memory card, and try to clean the gold portion with an eraser and put it back again. And turn on your PC again.

I've got an intel db43ld that won't post. The green and red LEDs on the motherboard are blinking. I've tried to replaced the motherboard, memory, and power supply and the lights are still...

Test the leads that attach to your ((hard drive from the motherboard)) or replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your ((motherboard to hard drive))
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections needs its connections continue its cycle and to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
hope this helps

Comp won't start

Your MotherBoard has 2 LEDs in the lower right corner, each designating a power condition. They are labeled LED14 and LED21. LED14 lights when there is a power source connected. If this is the one blinking it likely indicates a failed power supply. If you have an alternate power supply available that is comparable in power supply capabilities I would try that. LED21 lights when the system is powered on. Replace the power supply.
