Check if the button of your monitor is stuck. You can try by hitting the button several times to loosen it.

Question about my HP desktop model p6-2003 computer blue light on and moniter going to sleep moniter going to sleep

in control panel, select the power Options,, Change the preffered plans to HIGH PERFORMANCE then click on change plan settings, change turn of diaplayto never and put computer to sleep never... Remember to turn on your screen saver and put the pc to sleep manually when not using it.

this is a common problem and caused by corrupted registry entries. The popper fix is to reformat or restore the system.

Aadab: when the moniter ON after few second the moniter is does not give display and when we on and off the moniter so then the picture displayed why this problem is occure.how i recover it.

That is because the settings on the power are set for the monitor to go to sleep if not in use.. It is a very quick and easy fix.. Just right click anywhere on the desktop that doesn't have any icons, the display properties box will appear, then click on screen saver under monitor power click on power, there you could set the monitor never to turn off... Let me know if this solved the problem and good luck..

Moniter screen not displaying anything except the resoluton is too high or oo low frequency not matched how solve these problem

does this happen right after you power up your computer? or after the windows loading screen? if after the windows loading screen, what you can do is to restart your computer. while booting up, press f8 repeatedly and select safe mode.

If you successfully logged in to safemode, you can lower down the resolution.
you can do that by Right cliking on the desktop, click on properties, then change the screen resolution to a lower one.

Hope that works.

All of a sudden my moniter would not stay on I thoght it was my moniter because it was getting no imput siginal so I hookes uo another comouter to the moniter and it works fine, the message I was geeting...

it is possible the card is going out. however, since it is the ati radeon HD 2400 xt, it is doubtful. you may have been infected with a trojan or other nasty which is the cause. go to

http://www.download.com/SUPERAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-187228.html?tag=mncol&cdlPid=10978875

and download and install, then run the superantispy free edition to remove any nasties the security program you have has not caught.
restart the pc. if the problem is not resolved, you may need to re-install the video driver software from ati (if you don't have the cd) at
