Headphones never worked. I thought initially, due to my limited electronic skills, I had not hooked the system up correctly. I then convinced a friend who has alot of experience with sort of thing and he could not get them to work. I then took them back to H G. Gregg a year had passed. therefore, they would not exchange or refund,. I then contacted the manufacturer and they again advised you have had them for more than a year and the only way we can fix them is for you to approve $55.00 repair. I did that and should have them in my hands within 7 to 10 days.

No sound coming through to headset

need to know more. while headset is plugged in try very gently pulling the jackplug out of the socket, if you get sound with the jackplug positions you may have the wrong six
ze plug or the headset may be faulty. try the headset on other devices that function correctly. Also plug another headset into the socket that the headset is currently is plugged into. If another headset functions then the headset must be faulty. It is a matter of experimentation to find what the problem is but you might need a known working headset to carry out the testing procedure.
Good Luck

I bought an Auvio wireless headphones for my dad his RCA flat is giving me problems to make they work If I do conectadod them to the headset device they work but the TV does not sound just the headli

The tv might not have a audio input driver installed. This happened to me it might say "not supported". When the driver is installed then the headphones can communicate with the tv. If there is no driver then they can not communicate.

Why do I only hear static

Hi Cathy.. it sounds like you might be connected to the wrong jacks instead of the output that the headphones need.

Most high quality stereo headphones have a single 1/4" stereo plug that would readily plug into a 1/4" jack on the front of the stereo labeled "PHONES" or HEADPHONES".

Many lower quality "computer headphones" or headsets have two 1/8" plugs. One is often black or red and is for an included microphone that may be a boom type (shown below) connected to one of the speakers or an "in-line" type built into the cord itself. The headphone speakers in the headset get their signal from the other plug - which is usually green; but could be any color really. There should be 3 metal parts on the stereo headphone plug. The tip, the middle ring and the bottom ring. Many times the mic is mono (not stereo) and only has only a tip and a bottom ring on the plug. You can see stereo headphone and microphone plugs he picture below:

Computer Headphones or "Headset" with mic and phone plugs.

Your Yamaha stereo will probably NOT have 1/8" jacks to directly plug the headphone into. You can buy an adapter that you would plug your headphones into and then plug the adapter into the 1/4" jack on the stereo. One is pictured below:

Front and rear views of a "1/4" to 1/8" Stereo Adapter Plug" The front plugs into the stereo and the the smaller 1/8" headphones plug into the rear.

I hope this helps & good luck!

I accidentally stepped on the cord that goes Into the headset and it pulled on the cord and It just stopped working, please help me.

All that needs to be done is to check the continuity of the cord and fix it back to the section of the jack or the headset.
Most possible the wire would have stretched and so you will need a stereo cable that needs to be soldered into the jack and headset ,only if continuity is lost in the stretched wire .

Microphone doesn't work

For some reason, these types of headphones don't like to work in both A2DP Stereo headphone mode and headset profile. I know that every computer I've dealt with thus far sees both profiles as two separate devices, and since the mic is tied to the headset profile, the mono audio comes with it. Simply put, I'm not sure that there's a way to use both on a computer. I'm also pretty sure that most phones toggle between profiles when applicable. Best I can guess is that the problem is hardware related, not software.

RCA wireless headphones

Hey, my rca whp141 is incredibly quiet. Go ahead and turn the volume up on the TV.
If that doesn't work make sure
  • The headphones and headset are on the same channel (like 1).
  • the transmitter is on and working (Power: GREEN LIGHT)
  • the headset is on and working (GREEN LIGHT)
  • the headset is receiving a signal (St: GREEN LIGHT).
Hope this helps.
