Question about HP iPAQ RZ1710 Pocket PC
I have cLaunch on my iPaq rz1710. I have recently purchased SBP Pocket Plus from the iPaqchoice software sale. There is some evidence that it creates conflicts with cLaunch (quite reasonably) and therefore, after an unsuccessful attempt to install it while still having cLaunch aboard - which almost crashed the OS on my PPC - I decided to uninstall cLaunch first. The problem is, I don't manage to uninstall cLaunch, neither from the "uninstall" tool in the "settings\system" directory, nor from the "uninstall" tab in cLaunch itself (you have this tab when opening the "settings" area in cLaunch, then tapping on the "options" tab). This latter tells me "the programme has to be removed from the system settings", but this - as already described above - does not work either. Actually, cLaunch is displayed in the list of removable application, but when tapping on the removing icon, the OS seems to run(which makes me confident of a successful end, for a while) then cLaunch is kept on the list (and in the OS - fully operational!) - which makes me terribly disappointed. Does any of you chaps have a good hint?

There are tools you can download to remove programs from your iPAQ. I never used any before, but try a search in Google for "removal tools for pocket pc" and I'm sure you will find something. If you get frustrated with it you can always Hard Reset the unit and that will clear all information.
