I've tried every possible method I can think of to get my scanner working (reinstall of software, etc...) and the damned thing just wont work anymore. The blasted thing turns on fine but the fraking scan light wont anymore and I'm reasonably sure that the thing is burnt out. I've barely used the scanner since I bought it less than a year ago and I'm wondering if there's maybe a home brew method of repair or perhaps just an avenue I haven't thought of yet. I can't afford to take it to a repair center and I certainly can't afford to buy a new one. And I never filled out the warranty card so I doubt there's a rednecks chance in China of getting Epson to replace it. I'm running XP SP3...if that helps. I don't think the service pack is an issue so much but one never knows... epson scanner v200perfection not working
Hi-
Are you in china? if light is busted then chances are it needs replacement, you are still within warranty call 562-276-4382 for support and referral for free servicing on the scanner if you are in the states.
Hope this helps
