My Nokia 5800 just wont send messages. Whenever I try to send it, it will go to my outbox and say resend over and over.

you must haven't loaded it..try to purchase load on your phone..if it wont work, the problem is your phone...

check your message center number..

mot nokia cellphones have problems like that. fluctuating signal from the cell site to your cellphone maybe the cause of this problem. try resending it again by putting it into the draft section of your phone and try to resend it.

CONTACT CUSTOMER CARE AND VERIFY YOUR MESSAGE CENTRE NUMBER IS CORRECT.

it is happening due to virus

format ur cellphone & memory card after saving ur data in ur computer

always use quick heal antivirus in ur compute

try a factory reset..

Message center number might not be selected correctly. Pls select the correct message center.

Guyz i have got the solution, just update your firmware of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic to the latest version by connecting your phone to PC with data cable (PC Suite must be installed on your PC from the CD you have got in your Nokia box)

Simply run Nokia Software Updater and let it do its work. after completing update just restart your phone and try to send SMS.

I have solved my problem this way. Hay SOX thanx a lot for your kind concern BTW.

All you have to do is go to your message setting on your phone:
1. Open Messaging
2. On New message sellect options at bottom
3. Open settings
4. Open Text message, you should see: Message centre, message centre in use ect..
5. Open message centres this should go to next screen then open again, this screen should have : Message centre name & Message centre number (from your network provider you need to find out what is the message centres name & number are e.g in Australia it should be SMSC1 and number is +61411990001) then just manually enter these in there.
