It could be that some dust or something has got inside the dock and giving a bad connection. Check both devices for damage to the dock connections.

I cant get my lg ht303su system to play sound from my television how do i do this?

Connect the RCA cables ( red, white, yellow cables) to the necessary jacks o the DVD player and tv..the DVD player should have an "AUX" input amongst the other inputs eg DVD,USB etc..this allows you to play sound from the TV through the DVD HT

LG HT752TH Surround sound system rear x2 and centre speakers do not work even tho connected and tested correct.

They will work only if the source signal is itself 5.1. If it's stereo then you must convert it to 5.1 using the Virtual sound setting (press VSM to access it and select 5.1).

I've managed to sort this problem (well sort of)
ipod can be connected to the usb connection BUT although you can play the music it's not completely compatable formats
the answer is to use a "Y cable" connecting to the earphone out put of the ipod to the 2 aux. (audio) connections on the home cinema

Configuring two soundcards for parallel functioning

Windows does not play nicely with 2 sound cards. Perhaps one of these days Microsoft will get out of the stone age and recognize other options, but for now, the general consensus is that it is not feasible.

About the only thing I have seen is to turn off one sound card in the hardware profile, but that is not what you are trying to do.

Connecting an iPod to a HT-Q100 Home Cinema System

If you connect an iPod via USB, the system will treat it as a hard drive and will use its (very basic) on-screen system to display your tracks.

I found the best way to get a result is to use a 3.5 (stereo) jack to RCA phono stereo input into the auxillary input on the back (side). To hear your iPod, select AUX on your Samsung and then select and play on your iPod. Bobs your uncle!!
