I just bought the Zire 72s and I was able to synch the 2003 Outlook calendar but not the contacts. I went into the palome home page and clicked on the support downloads tab on the left. Click on the Zire section and enter the model At the bottom there are instructions. Print them then Click on "Outlook Conduct Updater Zip and download it. Use the Download "Outlook Conducts for Palm One Update V1.02. Follow the instructions. The new dowload let me snych the contacts

I had a power flicker during the time I was hot syncing my Palm TX. The hot sync did not work, and it would not hot sync at all after that. On advice from Palm's website, I downloaded the latest desk...
If so much has happened to your handheld then the only thing left to be done is a reinstall of the firmware, as that is the only solution to a corrupt firmware because of the power glitch while it was doing something. The glitch has corrupted the firmware and thats how it needs a reinstall. Nothing serious but such things do happen i electronics.

I have A MobilePro 770, My desk top does not recnise the hand held, I'm running Vista on my desk top, It will not let me load the disk that came with the hand held, it says that i need to set up Tcp/ip...
Of course you need to load the software and setup a tcp/ip service.

Consult your service provider and manufacturer of phone.

On contact , Menu , Copy contact , To SIM .

The Palm doesn't recongnize my IP address and vice versa so I am unable to sinc with either my hand held or my pc?
No, I'm not willing to pay for you to fix my problem, because I feel that after paying nearly $100.00 for my Palm, that you should at least help me get it so I can use it properly, And since that doesn't seem to be where you are. forget it. Unless you are willing to help me get started with my Palm free.

i would need more info to assist you. How long has this been happening? Has anything changed, either on the PDA or Laptop since this started? any more info would help.

I have a desktop dell runining XP software. I have a tungsten E hand held. I cannot get the contacts on the handheld to appear on the screen of the desktop. I just tried putting a new contact in the desk...
Try right click on the Hot-Sync icon, on the Taskbar and select Custom then select Address book and change the Action to Synchronise the files. You might have to use Windows Explorer to view your contact. I'm not 100% sure about this one but try it anyway.

you need to download your mails...you have to have GPRS on your phone... please contact your GSM service provider.....they will provide all the details for gprs...and there is another way to download the mails to your pda is....download all the mails to outlook express on your computer and through activesynk...you can transfer all the mails to your PDA...
