Help installing linux

1. Download an ISO image corresponding to your Computer's Processor Architecture (i.e. 32 bit or 64 bit)
2. Using an Image Burner application like ImgBurn, burn the ISO image to a blank CD or DVD (depending on whether you chose to download a CD Image or a DVD Image)
3. Restart your computer with the newly burned CD/DVD Image of Fedora
4. Now select it during the Boot Up process as the medium to boot from (i.e. press "F9 key for Boot Menu")
5. Fedora will boot automatically in 10 seconds. Launch the "Install to Hard Disk" application after Fedora boots; then follow its prompts.
Done.

Windows vista home premium error blu screen 0.000000a0 (non si spegne si riavvia dopo spegnimento(

Hi,
I hope I can help, but it might take a little while. The first thing I suggest is to boot up in safe mode, then run anti-virus/malware software. If the virus software finds something, then try to reboot and see if it works. If not, then boot up in safe mode again and try checking for updates on drivers. Usually, at this point, I would check the video drivers first and reinstall from the cd. Sometimes just disabling the driver might work.
OR
open the cpu and remove the RAM clean it with dry cloth and re-insert again.
If you need more help, let me know.

Good Luck. It might take some time to do all the checking, but..without reformatting the drive and reinstalling, it's about as good as it gets.

Long log in time of my computer.

if you are talking about teh time that it takes to open from the boot to the desktop ...this is caused mainly by the ram memory and the CPU ..so even if you have a great cpu and a large frequency on it ..if you have little ram memory on it it will take a long time to boot ...anyway sometimes after the system is overloaded with updates and all kinda programs that starts with windows...this willl also cause a long time to boot...
so ..if you know that it used to start faster ...just reinstall it clean and will start again like it used to ..or ..another thing ...if you are running windows Xp and you updated on xp sp3 this is another cause for delaying the log in ...
if you are talking about logging in on the web ...or any other program connected to the internet this is only depending on the internet connection ...and the bugs that you have on i t..
If you know it used to run faster on the internet ..also a reinstall will fix it ..

try upgrading the ram the higher the ram the faster your computer will run,you can also upgrade the CPU to make it run faster but your best bet would be to upgrade your ram, also scan your computer for viruses this may also be part of the issue

I boot my cpu but the monitor doesnt show anything

Hi again.
The beep codes you describe are memory issues or failure, take the system memory out, clean the contacts and the slots with a clean, soft, dry paintbrush. Re-seat the memory firmly and try boot the PC again.
please post back with the results

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!
