Question about Navionics CLASSIC MMC US835L SOUTH FLORIDA
I would like to know the level of detail I will receive from a south Florida bahamas Classic chip in a Furuno 1833C unit?
Gold Navionics is really not bad at all, but by todays standards, lousy. This is a VX1 unit and the classic cartography is frowned upon now, but in the day, this was quite good. So you have to ask, is it worth replacing for cartography alone? Radar and Sonar will plug and play to an 1834C, which is available with C Map or Navionics. Furuno 3D, on the other hand, uses the hyper cool Map Media 3D cartography with sat images and all that, plus other cartography too.
