This worked for me after the others didn't, get REG cure and fix your system, it seems weird to fix a virus remover with a virus remover but it works and I'm only 11!

Hello,

That sounds more like a virus infection to me. I would suggested downloading and install Avast antivirus from http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html#DownloadAvastHomeEdition

Once you get it downloaded just double click the file to start installation.

NOTE: You will need to remove whatever antivirus program that you have now before installing Avast

During the installation you can just accept all defaults and choose yes on the boot time scan. Once computer restarts it should automatically start the scan.

I hope this helps. Please remember to rate this information.

Thanks

Hello,

It seems that spy sweeper has removed some spywares from the start up.

You need to click Start>Run> type "MSCONFIG" without quotes>Click OK

You get the window on the top click Startup
See in this list if you have a file with name command.com.
Uncheck the same. Apply the settings and restart the computer.
You may get a messege that you have used the system config utility......
Check "Do not show this messege sgain and click OK.

Good Luck

Actually command.com is invoked by Spybot - it wants to remove the remaining files but can't. Here's how to fix it:
Get into regedit (Start -> run -> tye 'regedit' (no quotes), hit enter).
Go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
In there you will see some Spybot entries (possibly a lot of them!) - delete them all and reboot.
This fixed my problem.

Thanks for this tip. In my case this was the result of using latest Spybot beta version to delete malware

Problem arose using latest spybot beta version - excellent advice - worked a treat - was then able to uninstall the spybot programme

Can not find Scriptfile "C:\WINDOWS\System32\System32.db".

This is most likely the leftover startup command of a deleted virus. Run your antivirus again, or if that doesn't solve the problem...you will need to work on your startup file. Be careful in here as things can get hairy. Go to Start > Run and type msconfig

Go to the startup tab look for a line that contains C:\WINDOWS\System32\System32.db in the path. Clear the checkbox next to any programs with this path and then click ok to save. You will probably have to reboot after doing this.11_20_2012_3_54_12_pm.gif

When start system show error

Does the system boot up? This does not seem like an error that would stop it from booting up, just an annoyance.

Click Start/Programs and look for the RUNcommand. You might see it anywhere once you click Programs, or it might beinside the Accessories folder. Click RUN and when it opens up type"msconfig.exe" (without the quotes) then hit ok.

When the System Configuration window opens click the Startup tab. In theStartup Tab we are only concerned with 2 columns, the first column which is theStartup Items and the column that says Command. You can put your mouse pointerbetween two column headings and it will turn into a +, then hold the left mousebutton and drag the column over to the right to expand it so you can readwhat's below it.

Now everything has a check mark beside it. This means that everytime youstart your computer, these items have to load and run.
Start with the first item listed under the startup item column and look at itand look at the command for it. We want to find the command that your system is having a problem with the script file. The command is C:\WINDOWS\system32\FAantivirus.vbs. When you see it under the command column take the check mark off over to the left next to the item column and this will keep it from running the next time you boot your system.

Hi ,I have HP Pav DV6 with windows 7.But I want to install windows server 2003 & its not allowing me.I want to make it dual boot,Plzz help.I need to do it urgently...

Hi,
Please understand that Windows 7 uses different startup files and procedures so it is expected that the original Windows Windows 7 system cannot be booted if you install a new dual boot Windows Server 2003 system. If you would like to install Windows Server 2003 on another partition, please do that first. After that, Windows Server 2003 will boot but WIndows 7 not. However, we can try the following method to make Windows Vista work again: Insert the Windows 7 disk into DVD-ROM. Click Start, click Accessories, right-click the command-prompt shortcut, and then click Run as Administrator. Type the following command at a command prompt and press Enter: Drive:\boot\Bootsect.exe /NT60 All In this command, Drive is the drive where the Windows 7 installation media is located. Note The boot folder for this step is on the DVD drive. 4. type the following commands at a command prompt and press Enter. Note In the commands below, Drive is the drive where Windows 7 is installed. Drive:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /create {ntldr} /d "Windows Server 2003" Drive:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /set {ntldr} device partition=x: (Note: x: is the drive letter for the active partition. For example, if 2003 is installed on C drive, device partition=c: ) Drive:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /set {ntldr} path \ntldr Drive:\Windows\system32\Bcdedit /displayorder {ntldr} /addlast
5. Restart the computer.

I can't install a visual basic 6.0. because I've been accidentally deleted the some components of system32. most especially the config.nt

If my memory serves, VB 6 was the last dos/windows version and windows;nt was simply a text file that held some config parameters when it ran in nt mode. I woud suggest you update your software, but if you are unable to do that, you might try reloading nt from diskette or CD. I think NT also supported the undelete command. If it hasn't been very long since you erased it, you may be able to restore it with an undelete. I think that was the command name.
