1 Answer

Dead hx4700 I have had my 4700 for 9 months when yesterday it would not turn on regardless of what I have tried. My business partner's unit, which was purchased at the same time, is also dead. Any suggestions on what to do at this point would be apprecieated. Thanks.

So check the battery lock switch at bottom of unit. It easily moves over to unlock position and then the 4700 will appear dead.

Would A Partner Make It Simpler To Be Flourishing In Small Business?

A business partner doesn't guarantee success. In case you require additional management abilities or start-up capital, engaging someone might be your very best decision. Personality and character, in addition to capability to give technical or financial help, determine the best success of the partnership. An effective partnership usually happens when partners complement one another to ensure that a person's weakness is another's strength. Should you decide someone may be beneficial, ensure you both include a clear, written knowledge of your duties as well as your privileges.

Hi sounds like you have a belt snapped causing the power sterring pump to fail and stopping the battery recieving a charge from the alternator, should be an easy fix with replacement belt

I had a power interruption. I can not now access my voice mail (Partner VS Version 5) I get a busy signal. Calls do not go into voice mail. There is no LED lit on the module.

Try rebooting the phone system. Black power cord comes up on the right side. There is a switch there, turn off, count to 5 and turn back on.

Smart2200RMXL2U shows no sign of life after storage

These units, while hot swappable, will NOT start with dead batteries connected.

You will have to replace the batteries to confirm if the unit is still usable. Sealed Lead Acid Batteries do have a shelf life when a charge is not applied and will fail after several months of sitting around.

If your unit was working fine before it was put in storage, I definitely would consider just replacing the batteries. It is possible that the batteries are connected loosely, you can try opening the unit up to double check all the connections but if it has been sitting for more than a couple months, I would definitely consider the batteries dead.

You can find replacement batteries here http://www.refurbups.com/Tripplite-SMART2200RMXL2U-Batteries

Clicking starter=car not starting

Regardless of the battery age, sounds to me as if you have a drain on the electrical system First thing to do is completely recharge battery. An initial quick inspection might show a light staying on, whether it be a door , reading, glove box, or trunk lights, among many other things. If nothing is obvious an electical reading of the system while removing and reinstalling fuses will show the circuit causing the drain, Hope this helps
