Re: can't remove a progra

Two suggestions: (1) (you've probably already tried this) do a soft reset, then try removing; (2) install a little utility named SafeMode: http://www.monocube.com/ Read the instructions about how to activate it. It'll interrupt the start-up sequence (in case your keyboard is unremovable because it's already running) so that you can then remove it. Good luck.

Trying to sync my orders through my intermec cn3 and it wont sync. it comes up with unable to connect and error 633...

Hi ..Incompatible drivers might have a conflict with the operating system running your computer
or any of the system software especially with any remote connection or sync software which can cause this issue.
This issue can be mostly resolved by removing any available remote connectivity software or desktop synchronization software. But if the issue is not resolved then the users can try to reinstall the modem drivers and connectivity software.
STEPS to follow

1. Click on control panel>> add or remove programs
2. Select the programs which you want to uninstall
3. Click on the change/remove button to uninstall the software
4. A reboot is required to complete the un-installation
5. Install the connectivity software by using the CD which came along with the USB modem kit or download the software from the provider's website.hope this helps..

How do you uninstall a program from a palm treo 750?

You need activesync
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/microsoft/activesync-download.mspx

ActiveSync’s Tools >Add/Remove Programs screen lists all the programs that have been installed on your device. To uninstall a program, uncheck the box next to it and click on OK. To reinstall a program, click on the empty box next to it and click on OK. Do not click on the Remove button. Here's how to do it: If you used ActiveSync to install a third-party program to your Windows Mobile device, you can uninstall the program quickly from your PC.
  1. Make sure your Windows Mobile device is connected to your PC and ActiveSync is running.
  2. From the PC’s ActiveSync Window, click on Tools >Add/Remove Programs. This opens the “Add/Remove Programs” dialog box, which displays a list of third-party programs you have installed on your device.
  3. To uninstall any of the checked programs, click on the box to uncheck it and hit OK—ActiveSync will do the rest.

Reinstalling programs you’ve uninstalled Once you’ve installed a program using ActiveSync, the necessary installation files are saved on your PC. If you uninstall the program as described above, you can use the Add/Remove Programs menu to reinstall it at a later time. Uninstalled programs appear in the Add/Remove Programs list as items with unchecked boxes. To reinstall it, click on the check box next to it and hit OK. ActiveSync will reinstall the program automatically. Note that files in CAB format can be downloaded directly to a device and installed, so they will not appear in the Add/Remove Programs list. In addition, some freeware programs are installed by using ActiveSync’s Explorer to copy the program file to your device. Those also do not appear in the Add/Remove list. WARNING: Do not click on the “Remove” button at the bottom of the Add/Remove Programs screen unless you never again plan on using the program. This completely removes the necessary installation files from your PC and you won’t be able to reinstall the program by checking the box.

How do I download a LG-UX310 cell phone picture to a computer using the USB cable which I bought? I already installed the driver software which was provided.

I couldn't get it done with the USB cable. I spoke to LG, and US Cellular, and they had no ideas. This is what I finally did that works, and it does them all at once, instead of sending them one at a time to your online album/email. Get a bluetooth dongle (Ebay for a couple of bucks). Plug it in (It will automatically load drivers). Download "BFT" (Bluetooth File Transfer), which is free. They just ask for donations if you like it. Connect the phone via bluetooth to the pc. It took me all of three minutes to transfer all photos and audios from three different phones to the computer. It's really simple to do, once you find the right software. If you have any problems, let me know. (dbennett0723@aol.com)

Hi same problem here. The "content" menu wouldn' t work, though i' ve uninstalled / reinstalled LG PC Suite many times. Why do they sell a software that doesn't even work correctly, and just let custo

The main LG PC suite screen is flawed and doesnt work for anyone, right click the sys tray icon next to the OS clock and access contents through that method, its the only way to get into it. Otherwise, go to the phone settings>connectivity and change usb mass data transfer to on to use it as a normal removable media device. Data transferred via the USB mass storage will transfer a lot quicker than using the PC suite too.

Forgotten my blackberry 7100v unlock password

need to remove the itpolicy with the desktop manager!

Method 2: Placing Blank IT Policy on the Device (OS 4.2 and earlier devices) WARNING! Follow these instructions only if you know what you are doing. These instructions can actually downgrade certain BlackBerrys' abilities (i.e. permanent loss of support for Bluetooth keyboards) if your BlackBerry actually does not already have an IT policy installed. These instructions are meant as a last resort to regain BlackBerry capabilities, in the event your BlackBerry is encumbered by a restrictive leftover IT policy after removal from a BES (i.e. eBay purchased BlackBerry).
Steps to Method 2 removing IT Policy. This procedure should ONLY be used on devices that cannot be upgraded to OS 4.3 or higher. If you have an 8xxx device then use the method described above. If you have an older 7xxx device or have OS 4.2 on the device then continue with the following instructions. This is a How-To for removing IT policy from your BB. In essence, what this does is apply a blank IT policy to the device. The blank IT policy does, unfortunately, leave some IT policy firewalls in place, however. For instance "keystroke injection" is set by default to "deny" on most IT policies. This blank policy won't give back "allow" for this feature. This becomes a problem if you desire to use a Bluetooth keyboard. You'll be unable to use the keyboard. If a way is found to get this back then I'll edit this post accordingly. A quick check to see if your BB is under IT policy can be done by going to Options/Security on your Device. If you see any references to IT Policy whatsoever, then you have a potentially restrictive IT Policy that can be removed.
  1. Step 1: Ensure the Blackberry Desktop Manager is installed using Blackberry Internet Service, and not Blackberry Enterprise Server. If you are unsure, it would probably be a good idea to uninstall the Desktop Manager and start again. If you don't have the CD that came with your Blackberry, the Software can be downloaded here.
  2. Step 2: Download the file policy.bin and save it in your Blackberry installation directory (C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry). Click Here to Download
  3. Step 3: Wipe your Blackberry, creating a backup if necessary. Select Options/Security/Wipe on the Device. If this option is unavailable, you may have to install the latest software on your Blackberry. You need to Download and install the latest OS for your device. Connect your device, open the Desktop Manager, select Application Loader, and follow the prompts.
  4. Step 4: Close the Desktop Manager if it is open.
  5. Step 5: From the Windows XP Start Menu select Run..., and at the prompt type regedit. In the tree on the left hand side, navigate to: HKEY_Current_Users\Software\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\PolicyManager Right-Click the Policy Manager Folder and select New/String Value. Name the value Path. Now, Double-Click the Path Subkey and set Value Data to: C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\policy.bin
  6. Step 6: Open the Desktop Manager.
  7. Step 7: Connect the Device. Verification Once complete, the Options/Security screen on your Blackberry should not contain references to an IT Policy, you should now be able to change all settings (including password prompts), and install Third Party Applications.

Complete uninstall of palm desktop?

How I uninstalled Palm Desktop for the 7135: Suggest this step: 1) Find your Palm files, all of them, most likely /Program Files/Palm, and make a copy of the folder, call it Palm Backup. That should leave all of your existing information as is, just in case 2) Using the control panel, find and remove Palm Desktop (Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Applications) 3) Suggest you optionally reboot. 4) Now do the install of your new Palm Treo 650 software. This is what I did, and all is well. I had different problems when I decided to go back to my 7135. Seems that using the same techniques does NOT remove the PalmOne software, lots of residual modules, and even if I did a delete of the entire Palm directory, there must be links everywhere. The 650 has extraordinary capabilities, but in the end, I went back to my 7135.
