Handle on outside of appliance broken off. Need new handle and procedure for replacing handle

I have the same problem on mine so I was doing some internet research. Your crock pot is on the recall list. Go to www.rivalrecall.com and register for a new base. Your cord will have a date stamped on it. If it is between 0199 and 1802 (1st week of 1999 through the 18th week of 2002) Rival will replace your base.

My handle broke off the lid while I was checking on my ingredients. I need a new cover handle.
